Tyler, The Creator Wants You to Chill with His Album

Tyler, The Creator dropped a musical gem and he’s urging everyone to just vibe with it.

On X, Tyler expressed his desire for fans to embrace his work without rushing to judge it. “Everyone’s quick to opine, but it’s only been 10 hours. Let it be,” he shared. His latest album, “Don’t Tap the Glass,” is a breezy and upbeat collection that touches on personal themes from abortion to aging, and everything in between.

The new release, which hit the scene yesterday, clocks in as Tyler’s shortest album yet, featuring only 10 tracks and running just 28 minutes. Despite its brevity, it packs a punch with uncredited appearances by big names like Pharrell Williams and Baby Keem.

One notable absence from the tracklist is “Get Right” featuring Doechii, a song that turned heads at Louis Vuitton’s Paris fashion show earlier this summer. Tyler is all praises for the TDE rapper, recalling his first encounter with her music on YouTube. “I was blown away,” he remembered, highlighting the impact of tracks like “Catfish” and “Nissan Altima.”

Their connection led to Doechii’s appearance on Tyler’s Chromakopia world tour in Los Angeles, where he celebrated her achievements onstage. “I’m so happy she exists,” Tyler exclaimed, emphasizing the importance of supporting artists devoted to their craft.

In the whirlwind of album drops and digital buzz, Tyler, The Creator simply wants his fans to feel the music. There’s no need for instant analysis; sometimes it’s best to hit play and let the tracks speak for themselves.
