Justin Bieber Celebrates Lil Wayne as the Rap ‘GOAT’

In a heartfelt social media moment, pop superstar Justin Bieber gave a shoutout to none other than Lil Wayne, declaring him the ‘GOAT’ of rap during a FaceTime chat.

Justin Bieber recently took to Instagram to share his admiration for Lil Wayne, posting screenshots from a FaceTime call with the rapper. His caption called Wayne the ‘GOAT’ with a goat emoji, a phrase representing the ‘Greatest of All Time’.

On the other side, Lil Wayne also shared one of the call screenshots on his own social media, expressing emotions about their conversation with Bieber. He wrote, ‘It’s a painful walk but we got each other,’ adding a love heart emoji to underline the bond between the two.

Meanwhile, Lil Wayne is in the headlines for another reason—he just dropped his much-anticipated album, ‘Tha Carter VI’. The album marks his first solo project in five years. In typical Weezy fashion, the project doesn’t miss a beat in terms of collaborations.

Despite fans’ hopes, ‘Tha Carter VI’ doesn’t feature Justin Bieber. Yet, it surprises with an eclectic mix of collaborators, from hip hop heavyweights like 2 Chainz and Big Sean to the unexpected vocals of U2’s Bono, who sings about the joys of youth and beauty.

Opera singer Andrea Bocelli and country star Jelly Roll are also featured, showcasing Wayne’s versatility and willingness to experiment outside of traditional hip hop confines.

Fans were buzzing about a potential reunion with Young Money legends Drake and Nicki Minaj, but unfortunately, that didn’t happen on this album. However, Wayne’s dedication to nurturing young talent shines through as he introduces new and seasoned artists on his ‘Young Money Radio’. This includes names like Jay Jones and Poppy.

Through his radio show, Wayne keeps the Young Money label vibrant and evolving. Though the new album doesn’t feature any current Young Money talent, the label’s history with stars like Drake and Nicki Minaj remains significant.

No surprise here, Justin Bieber’s admiration for Lil Wayne adds another layer to the rapper’s legacy as a beloved figure in the music world. With ‘Tha Carter VI’, Lil Wayne not only cements his status but also opens new doors and collaborations that keep the music scene on its toes.
