Kanye West Claims Intrusion in Social Media Account After Crypto Move

Kanye West’s foray into the cryptocurrency world has hit a rocky patch with claims of a hacked Instagram account.

After announcing YZY Money, West revealed on X that his Instagram had been compromised, promoting the incorrect coin. ‘My Instagram has been hacked and it’s following a fake coin. The official project is @YZY_MNY,’ he declared, directing fans to the right handle.

Currently, his Instagram follows the suspicious account yzytkn along with his wife, Bianca Censori. Despite these social media woes, Kanye remains tight-lipped about new music releases.

Meanwhile, Freddie Gibbs claimed West was envious of his verse on the song ‘Back to Me’ from Vultures 1. Speaking on a podcast, Gibbs detailed how West resented Gibbs’ verse being hailed as the best, even though Gibbs looked up to West.

Gibbs expressed disappointment, saying that working on Vultures took away from his own projects and yet, West wasn’t appreciative. He perceived West’s reaction as a slap in the face.

In the background, Kanye unveiled a trailer for his documentary In Whose Name?, which covers controversial moments from his life over six years, including his public rants and divorce from Kim Kardashian.

The film is scheduled for theatrical release nationwide on September 19. While Kanye’s silence on the music front continues, his ventures in film and crypto remain intriguing topics.

Kanye West’s re-entry into the media spotlight brings its share of drama and challenges, especially with social media security and industry relationships.
