Kendrick Lamar’s “Luther” Shatters Streaming Records

Kendrick Lamar’s explosive collaboration with SZA, “Luther,” has set Spotify ablaze, reaching one billion streams faster than any of his previous releases.

Only launched in November, “Luther” has become Lamar’s speediest hit to surpass the billion mark, outpacing his older song “Not Like Us,” which took an extra month to achieve the same feat.

This success isn’t new for Lamar, as “Luther” now joins “All the Stars,” “Humble,” and “Money Trees” among his eleven tracks with a billion streams.

The song crushed records, spending 13 nonstop weeks leading the Billboard Hot 100 and dominating the Hip Hop chart for an astounding 25 weeks.

Kendrick’s remarkable year doesn’t stop there. Recently, at the BET Awards held in Los Angeles, he walked away with five trophies, including Album of the Year and Best Hip Hop Artist.

Celebrating his victories, Kendrick shared a heartfelt message during the event: “I ain’t been here in a long time but I always kept my heart BET…” His words resonated with the audience as he acknowledged the impact of their support.

Meanwhile, Kendrick and SZA are on their Grand National tour, thrilling fans across North America and gearing up for their upcoming European stadium shows.

Kendrick Lamar’s meteoric rise with “Luther” highlights his undeniable influence in the music world, setting new trends and breaking barriers along the way.
