Ranking Chris Brown’s First Week Album Sales

People tend to forget how long Chris Brown has been in the music game for. He was just 16-years old when he scored a chart topper with his debut single, “Run It!”, and he’s never left.

A self-taught singer and dancer born and raised in Virginia, Chris Brown started performing for his church choir and at local talent shows, when his mother recognised her son’s natural talent and they began searching for a record deal.

After signing to Jive Records in 2004, he dropped the self-titled Chris Brown album which debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 with first week sales of 154,000 copies. Ever since then, he’s continued to rack up multiple platinum and gold plaques, along with several number one albums and hit singles.
