Moneybagg Yo has been grinding for a minute. It’s been over a decade since the Memphis rapper dropped his mixtapes From Da Block 2 Da Booth and October 20th and since then he’s just been putting in the work.

Being signed to fellow Memphis grinder Yo Gotti’s record label, Collective Music Group (CMG), had helped to inspire Moneybagg’s work ethic – he puts out multiple mixtapes and albums each year – and this has been paying off for him, with his latest album A Gangsta’s Pain becoming his first chart-topper.

  1. Seem like the industry does want the younger artists to listen to 2pac. How in the hell is all these about so call better than 2pac albums. Pac was running the game . Me against the world, all eyes on me, Makaveli. None of this song s are near that man. So seem like it’s a hate on 2pac vibe going around. But if u really understand music I be saying the same stuff I’m saying.
